NICK ARNOLD
Nick’s ‘Horrible Science’ books make science more interesting than you could ever imagine.
An interactive family show.
Ages 6-13
10.00-10.45am and 1.30-2.30pm

STEVE BARLOW/STEVE SKIDMORE
Join the 2 Steves for the ‘Tales of the Dark Forest’ show – a whole new world of comic adventure!
Ages 7-12
12.00-1.00pm and 3.15-4.00pm

ANTHONY BROWNE
Join Anthony in making pictures, telling stories and seeing how his drawings can make you look,
then look again!
Ages 5-12

NICK BUTTERWORTH
Come and meet the creator of ‘Percy the Park Keeper’. An
interactive session with drawing, storytelling and slides.

Explorers wanted! Learn some cool facts and gruesome details, and find out what life’s really like in the jungle!

Get crafty! Join this author/illustrator team for activities based on their latest book about life in Roman times.

An action packed explosion of performance poetry! If you like a good laugh don’t miss this family show.

Drop into the under 5s area via the library. No need to book in advance.

FOR 12s AND OVER
Lead an army…command a strikeforce.
Join the team from Games Workshop and try out table top
battlegames. By the end of the day you may have found a fantastic new hobby!
Relive the excitement of scenes from 'Lord of the Rings',
have a go at painting miniature figures, even create your own adventures!
No need to book, just turn up and join in.

Lots of craft stalls and activities celebrating the wonderful world of poetry.
