| Jan Dean
Itinerant poet. Good with children and dogs.
Jan Dean lives in Knutsford, Cheshire. Her husband and two
sons have described her as ‘strange’…
but they have got used to her!
She inflicts stories and poems on children and teachers
whenever possible and is fanatical about fun.
The most unusual fun thing she did that inspired her to
write a poem was bogsnorkelling! She enjoys cooking and
walking the dog – not usually at the same time. She
loves singing in the church choir. She’s not very
good at it, but they are desperate!
Her favourite things are: having her feet held, ice cream
and earrings.
The Stuntman's Diary
Monday
Fell from roof of twenty storey building
Chips for tea.
Tuesday
Crashed motorbike
Escaped from burning car
Fired from cannon
Fed ducks.
Wednesday
Swam through crocodile infested swamp
Wrestled python
Took guinea pig to vet's.
Thursday
Bungie jumped from Humber bridge
Got blasted in underground explosion
Washed hair.
Friday
Grounded.
Mum threw wobbly - said my room was a disgrace
Said I had to clean the wardrobe top
And underneath the bed.
But I wouldn't.
Couldn't.
It just isn't fair.
How am I supposed to do that stuff
When there are spiders there?
