Books are undeniably one of the greatest inventions of mankind. Despite the fact that the advent of the internet has started to diminish the use of books in most institutions and organizations, the presence of hard copy of books will still prevail. Firstly, the internet is not yet accessible in some countries, so there might be a lot of people who have not used the internet yet, and the presence of books in their place can still educate them. Secondly, as young as 2 years old, kids can start to love books and this is one great step to education compared to internet or any mechanical learning device.
One of the best ways to get your child to love reading books is to introduce him or her with books as early as a few months old when he already starts forming a few words. This may sound hilarious, but this is the best time for you to expose your child to books. If you are afraid that he or she might tear the pages, there are basically a number of soft books in the market where they cannot tear out the pages easily. Also, soft books are flexible, so it will stay as it is even if it’s thrown or bent several times.
Another way to teach your kids to love books is to expose him or her with books all the time. You can create a bookshelf in her room or in the playroom cum mini library and place all books there. This way, she can grab a book or you can read to her immediately whenever she’s got nothing to do. You can also create a book time every day. Reading books before sleeping or after lunch before the baby takes a nap is a good way to stimulate her sense of sight, hearing, and touch. The kid also tends to recognize letters, colors, shapes, and numbers easily when they are always exposed to it.
Be a role model. Whether you are teaching your kids proper discipline or proper ways to handle their spoon and fork, their reception will always depend on how you act as well. You should also be a role model to your kids and you should show them that you also love reading books. Kids love to imitate their parents’ actions, so they will definitely have a habit of reading when they see you reading books often as well.
Lastly, never force your kid if he or she is not interested in reading yet. Try to find other ways on how you can get the kid to love books by finding different types of books. While some kids love to read Mickey, others might love to read Dr. Seuss’ collections. Try introducing different books and as soon as you found a specific topic, stick to it and introduce other topics later on.

I contend this argument with my professional clienteles as well as my friends, kinfolk and even individuals I really am not acquainted with:
It is not the responsibility of the listener to comprehend the message – it is communicator’s task to do such in a manner that is unstated.
In over one manuscript I have studied, the meaning of successful communication is the feedback you obtain from another individual as an outcome of your communication.
So, how can we make certain that our storytelling session is effective?
The selection of story, adequate research, and eagerness create an excellent story time for every partaker.
Delivering stories presents a plethora of thoughts and concepts to a child. Moreover, feelings and views can be transported in easy-to-understand notions that aids in offering fun, captivation and excitement.
Simply put, conveying stories bids a certain inducement to the imagination of a child by which no other channel can deliver.
Allow their thoughts to run free!
Mind’s eye must be reinvigorated to support the development of the child into their own individual.
Lacking of imagination, a child is duty-bound by a situation entailing only what he or she can perceive, listen to, and touch. Such idea sends jolts down my backbone at the belief: I envision it would be far similar to the familiarity of those who have experienced being lobotomized.
Narrating stories provides a child an opportunity to unravel a realm that has under no circumstances been witnessed before, where just roughly whatever thing is conceivable.
